Story
Finally, after a 2 year postponement I will be cycling for Sense again in 2022. This wonderful charity supports people with complex disabilities and my Brother Martin and I have supported them on 2 previous rides Ride London 100 events. This one will be extra special as it's been a long time coming, but will be extra tough too.. we have another 100 mile ride exactly 2 weeks later in Cambridge, although self inflicted as not for a charity! We didn't plan it that way, both rides were postponed and rescheduled due to the pandemic and somehow ended up a week apart. My first reaction was ….. Are you 'avin a laugh!!! :-)
We support Sense as we both enjoy films and music enormously and cannot imagine how challenging it must be to be deprived of sight and sound. Sense helps people communicate and experience this world and believes that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential. I am honoured to be able to ride wearing the Sense jersey again and ask you to help me help Sense in their valuable work.
Thank you for your support.
