Pancreatic Cancer took my father in law Pat Sullivan in August 2012. Survival rates are low because for most people by the time they have any symptoms, and receive a diagnosis, it is too late. This is what happened to Pat.
I hadnt heard of the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (PCRF) until Pat became ill, and I wanted to do something to raise funds for the charity and to try and raise awareness of the work they are doing.
I chose the London to Brighton cycle ride on 30 June 2013. It's 75 miles from the London Eye to Brighton Pier. I must be mad!
