Story
#THELAP 47 miles in under 10 hours 🤪
As many of you know Alder Hey Childrens Hospital helped to save Olivia’s Life after she was rushed into Wigan Hospital on Christmas Eve with breathing difficulties.
As many of you also know I run, walk or crawl too raise money every year too try and help charities.
I also know that times are hard financially and that many people are struggling and may not be able to help me.
On May 13th I will be running The Lap 47 miles around Windermere on the trails and fells with my brother Dan Shorrock raising money for Alder Hey Childrens Hospital.
We’ve done it before. The first time I did it in 11 hours 55 minutes, the second time in 10 hours 55 minutes.
This time I’m aiming for 9 hours 55 minutes or less !
This will be a challenge and I’ll really have to train hard and push myself but I don’t want it to be easy !
Alder Hey battled, and worked hard non stop 24/7 for 7 days to help Olivia. Olivia was in an induced coma for 5 days.
I want to really push myself to help Alder Hey.
If you get a minute please have a look at The Lap and the route.
Any help at all will be appreciated and make me emotionally smile.
Let’s see what we can do to help Alder Hey Childrens Hospital 🙏🏻
