I, and I guess a number of you reading, know of family and friends who have had reason to use the Martlets or another hospices services. I have a very special reason to raise money for this amazing Hospice, my Dad, who was diagnosed late with prostate cancer (the symptoms were hidden by Parkinson's disease).  Despite battling as hard and as long as he could, he passed away at the Martlets Hospice on my birthday 9 years ago.
