Wickes Paddle the Thames for YoungMinds, 4 July 2022
A brave group of Wickes colleagues will be kayaking 180 miles of the Thames over 5 days for YoungMinds, to show support for young people and their mental health.

Story

The last two years have bought into sharp focus the pressure and challenges of being a youngster in todays world. The mental health and well-being of children and young adults has been tested and strained to breaking point. I just want to do my bit to try and help those that need it most. I'm taking on the daunting challenge of kayaking 180 miles down the Thames over a period of 5 days in July. Alongside my amazing colleagues at Wickes, we'll be hoping to raise £50,000, in total, and in doing so to raise awareness of the work YoungMinds do.
