More than 10 million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they need shelter, food and water. Donate now.

Story

I'm playing a couple of guitar recitals to help raise funds for the Ukraine appeal.

My mini-tour of Reading starts in
Tilehurst Methodist church on Friday 13th May
and then on
Saturday 21 May at St Nicolas Church in Earley.

The programme includes several works that will be familiar to guitarists  (Guiliani's variations on theme by Handel,  Suite Castellana by Torroba and Duarte's English Suite and 2 preludes by Villa-Lobos) as well as more widely known pieces (Cavatina and 'Air on the G String'). The recital finishes with the ever popular Suite del Recuerdo with its beautiful Evocation and exciting dances from Argentina and Venezuela.

Donations in cash on the evening or via this JustGiving page (with GiftAid if you can) are very much appreciated.   Thankyou so much:-)
