Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and considering supporting me in my run to raise valuable funds for an outstanding charity, that is close to my heart.

Why Dogs Trust?

Dogs Trust are a wonderful charity that aims to give stray, abandoned and neglected dogs a second chance at having a happy and fulfilled life with responsible and caring new owners.

They care for over 15,000 dogs every year at their rehiring centres and notably (sadly, unlike some other animal charities) NEVER end the life of a healthy dog 🐶.

I have the truly rewarding experience of adopting two dogs from their care. Both these dogs had previously traumatic and poor ownership, but saw out their lives with happy times and wonderful care by my family.

I have seen firsthand, the extraordinary care and love Dogs Trust have for each and every dog that gets brought to their centres (and would urge anyone considering a dog to give this charity a chance - there are many dogs deserving of that happy life).

So, I ask for you support as I do the unthinkable (those that know me, will think that), by running what a first-time amateur like me would consider an obscene distance.
