The National deaf children’s society is a fantastic charity to support. Deaf children can be   vulnerable to isolation, abuse, bulling, poor self-esteem and low levels of achievement and the ndcs does amazing work to support these children and their families.

It was therefore a privilege for me when I was offered a place on the London marathon supporting and running for the ndcs.

This is no doubt my biggest ever physical challenge having never run more than 3 miles in my life the prospect of crossing the line at 26.2 miles feels rather daunting.

I have no doubt that I will need a lot of support and encouragement  to get through the training over the next few weeks and hope that you can show your support by donating to this very worth while charity.
