We offer support, advice and information to UK families affected by retinoblastoma

Story

In October 2021, our one year old son was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma in his left eye. This was the most devastating news any parent could receive; your child has got cancer. Cillian, my son, is currently receiving Chemotherapy in Birmingham Childrens Hospital. It is a treatable cancer, and he is reacting positively; however he has lost the sight in his left eye and this will more than likely not return. We caught the cancer quite early, however if we did catch it sooner; Cillian may still have had his sight. We believe that this was due to the lack of awareness of the signs and also the rare type cancer. It is a rare cancer which only 40 children in the UK are diagnosed each year; we noticed from a glow in the eye.

My family have set up this page to start fundraising for the Charity and also raise awareness.

We will be carrying out challenges, activities, raffles and parties throughout the year.
