Hi there,

As some of you may know I ran this marathon last year to raise funds for my son Jake's school,who has Downs Syndrome,although I never finished and had to pull out at 21m due to a knee injury,this year i'm determined to finish it.

We raised nearly £1500 last year and it all went to a new sensory room that was fitted at Jakes special needs school in Lichfield,I've seen how all the kids just love the room,so thanks to everyone who sponsored me.

This year I want to raise funds for Make'A' Wish foundation which is a leading wishgranting charity that grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life threatening diseases.Just to give one kid a special day out and to take their mind off from,what must be a very painfull time for all concerned with the child,is surely worth me running 26.2 miles and raising as much as i can in the process.So please donate and i'll be your best mate and call for you every night :) Actually I'll take that back as some peeps might be put off donating ;)
