Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My husband Gary has decided to take part in the Great North Run 2019 to raise money for MNDa (Motor Neurone Disease Association). His good friend and colleague of many years, Pete Upson (Uppy)has recently been diagnosed with this terrible, life changing illness.  Gary has seen first hand how this terrible disease can devastate families and with Pete's blessing has decided that this is the charity that he would like to support this year.

Anyone who knows Gary will know that he is not an experienced runner, only ever taking part in the Leeds 10K last year, he is training very hard to ensure that he is fully ready for his next challege on 8th September 2019

Any donation will be greatly appreciated, I'm sure that there are lots of the railway 'family' who not only know Gary but also know Pete too and would be happy to donate to such a worthy cause
