Story
Hi All,
This is my fundraising page in order to raise money for charity in memory of a very special person I knew called Nina Magill (née Jeffers) who sadly passed away, aged 31, on Sunday 14th February 2010 suffering from Leukaemia. I knew Nina since I can remember and always knew her as a happy and outgoing person whose smile and laugh could light up the room. She was loved by everyone who met her, especially by her family, her husband Hilly and little 18-month old daughter Darcey. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her, in particular her family.
As a tribute to Nina's memory, I decided that I would like to do something to raise money for the charity who helped to provide care and support to Nina and her family throughout her illness. So I gathered up 4 of my work colleagues to help me complete the 2010 Belfast Marathon relay and in the process gain sponsorship from friends and family for doing so.
Therefore, I would be grateful if you could donate whatever you can afford so that Macmillan Cancer Support can continue to provide such a vital and worthwhile service to cancer victims and their families.
Many thanks,
Gary
