Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Rob Hope (Sabit Engineering) and his 'merry men' (of which I am one!) will be walking over 100km (68.6miles) of the Thames Path route in less than 24-hours to raise money for our wonderful local hospice 'The Dougie Mac'. The team consists of me, Rob Hope, Paul Staley, Nathan Walton, Terry Stanway and Gareth Higgins.

This walk is normally completed in over four days, however, we will be leaving Stoke-on-Trent early on Tuesday 7 June and travelling to the start point of the Thames Barrier in London. We will begin the challenge at 4pm and aim to maintain a pace of over 5km an hour to reach Marlow in Buckinghamshire by 4pm on Wednesday 8 June.
