One person in seven in the UK is affected by a lung disease. The British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity working for everyone affected by lung disease whether it's mild asthma or lung cancer. 

My father fought lung cancer for many years but his life was cut short due to the effects of this disease.

Together with my daughter Jenny, I have decided to take part in the Great North Run Half Marathon and raise money for this worthy charity.
