Story

Beautiful day for a run today, get your trainers on! Please help me raise money and awareness for rare metabolic disorders like mitochondrial disease by sponsoring me to run the great welsh marathon. all donations go to the lily foundation to help research a cure.

Uggggghhh a dreaded cold! Feel like absolute rubbish and not looking forward to an hour of intervals later. Help me through it and lift my spirits by donating....orrrrrr if you were a real friend you could always run the intervals for me?

Just 5 weeks left to go until I run in the Great welsh marathon to raise money and awareness for the Lily foundation. Please help by donating just a small amount for this amazing charity.

To everyone that's sponsored me so far, thank you. in a word you're 'amazing' :-) I've exceeded my target but want to keep going and raise as much money as I can for this superb charity. Please tap or click on the link to my just giving page and donate anything you can afford, it's all good and will go towards researching a cure for conditions like mitochondrial disease. if you can't afford to donate, then God bless you, I hope things improve for you soon. If you're the kind of person who reads this but can't be bothered to donate or think it doesn't apply to you, then that's fine too, it's you who has to live with your decision and I won't think any less of you. Thank you for your help :-)

Please support my efforts to raise money for the lily foundation. I'm taking part in the great welsh marathon this April and raising money for research into metabolic diseases like mitochondrial disease.

The vast majority of my Facebook friends will scroll straight past this post without giving it a second thought. some of you support other charities or for one reason or another don't like to donate through sites like just giving, and that's absolutely fine. All I ask is for you to stop and think about what you would do if (God forbid) you ever needed the help of a charity like the lily foundation. A token gesture is all it takes, £1 or so. With the gift aid box ticked it adds significant value to the amount of money which goes to charity, and that's important, this money is not for me. The only influence your donation has on me is to act as more motivation to run the 26 miles I've paid for myself (that's right, I paid to run a marathon). So if I can go to the effort of running a marathon and paying £40 to punish myself for people, the cast majority of whom I will never have the good fortune to meet, surely you can follow the link below and chip in £1?

just completed a pyramid interval session. whoever said marathon training is fun is a liar!

proper good week of training and I'm around £50 short of my fundraising target. Thank you to everyone that's taken the time to sponsor me

16 mile run at long run pace planned today. weather looks a damn side better than what I usually get :-)

There are some incredibly generous people out there that deserve nothing but good things in their lives, you know who you are and thank you. It doesn't stop there though and I need to keep going with fund raising and training. Please help me if you can. Thank you :-)

Come on guys I'm working hard here, spare some change, out of pity for me if nothing else :-(

Slightly hanging after a 1 hour steady run today. 8.5 miles in 1 hour....Happy days
