On 16^th May 2010 I will be taking part in the Brathay Windermere Marathon, my first attempt to run a marathon and apparently one of the most distinctive marathon courses in .

Whilst looking forward to enduring the 26.2 miles of road around ’s largest lake, the event is organised by Brathay Trust and so is also an oppurtunity to support some of our most disadvantaged children and young people. Brathay Trust will use your donations to transform the lives of those vulnerable and disaffected young people on the margins of society.
