Story
In a fit of somewhat foolish but well intentioned spontaneity I have decided to run the London Marathon this year in support of Afghanaid.
As many of you, my friends, are aware I have neither the natural talent nor the love for extended periods of jogging so to help me through this I am asking for your assistance. A plentiful pot of donations to this charity would give me just the kick-up the behind I will no doubt require during my crawl to the finish!
It is a great charity that is putting money into educating and empowering the people of Afghanistan, particularly women, to not just survive in their difficult circumstances but begin to thrive and grow.
Clearly with my previous experiences along with a number of you we have seen firsthand the lives of some of these people and I am sure you agree the individual families out there need help to survive. This is a small step to help for me and one that I hope you agree is worthwhile. Please see the link to the website below:
To donate please use this website or talk to me in person if you wish to donate directly and I have sponsorship forms. To those of you willing to do a bit of active persuasion for me I have a donation form you can have to collect for me. If you want one please email me directly (garethjohnprince@gmail.com) and I will send you a form so you can get the ball rolling.
Thank you all in advance for anything you can spare and I hope to see as many of you on the as can make it to shout at me and keep me from crying on international television!
Big love as always my friends and wish me luck!
