Story
Alzheimer's disease charities are a cause close to my heart. My mother was diagnosed with the disease over 10 years ago at the age of 56 and it is something that I would never would wish upon anyone and their families.
Losing someone to this disease is incredibly tough. Seeing that one vibrant person deteriorate and the effect it has on them and your family is something no one should have to go through.
This year due to COVID charities like Alzheimers society are massively under funded and we run the risk of these great charities not being able to support those families effected by the disease and dementia; but also to slow the progress of research into finding a cure and saving those and their families from the future pain of going through this experience.
I have setup this page to help in some small part to do what we can to keep great charities like Alzheimer's society running at their full potential.
Thank you,
Gareth
