Story

After being lazy for a few years & having spinal surgery I thought it was time to get back in shape & raise some money for a great cause whilst I’m at it. So I’m attempting the rather hilly Croyde Ocean Triathlon, with drop foot, could be interesting, could be painful. But this is a good warm up for my main goal of completing an Ironman in 2023.

Plastic Free North Devon is a local grass-roots environmental charity close to my heart and and has mission I am right behind.

''By working with local communities, businesses, organisations, and visitors, they aim to; Tackle plastic pollution head on by raising awareness, reducing consumption, clearing it away from our environment; inspire reconnection with nature; and facilitate sustainable behaviour change.By connecting people with their natural surroundings through experience and education they aim to accelerate the growth of environmental engagement to action and deliver a radical transformation towards a healthier relationship with the natural world.''

Amen to that...

Give generously folks, we've only got one planet and protecting our oceans is key. Time is tight to ensure its a fun , liveable and healthy place for generations to come.
