Story
I'm abseiling down The Bank in Birmingham in aid of Edward's Trust. I'm doing it in memory of my lecturer, Nathan Wiseman-Trowse and my girlfriend's brother, Tautvydas Miknevicius, who were both taken from us far too soon, last year.
Edward's Trust does amazing work with adults and youngsters who are bereaved, or about to be, they provide counselling support, offer 'wellbeing in bereavement' support, respite retreats and also train professionals working in their sector, but it costs them close to £600,000 a year and they have to rely on goodwill and support to raise those funds
The Bank stretches almost 65 metres into the sky above Broad Street - making it higher than Niagara Falls. So, it's an ideal location for an abseil!
Please support this wonderful local charity and give all that you can.
Thank you
