Story
Two years ago many of you generously sponsored my elder son, Tom, and me when we ran the Great Manchester Run to raise money for the Royal Air Forces Association. We raised over £2,000!
Last year I missed the event due to chronic tendonitis. This year, at the tender age of 63, I am running the event again - this time to raise funds for the East Cheshire Hospice.
ECH is an establishment which has provided superlative care for far too many of our friends in the past few years. The hospice costs £6,000 per day to run and therefore any donation you feel able to give will be very much appreciated - not just by the hospice and me, but also by our friends who have lost loved ones recently.
So, please, please give what you can. I have started the process off and now it's back to training...............!
