Story
In April 2021, it will mark 10 years since I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. To mark the occasion, I wanted to set myself a challenge and in doing so raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. So in April 2021, I will be running 10 kilometres every day throughout the whole of April. April 2011 presented me with my biggest challenge when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer, so it seems right that exactly 10 years on I set myself another challenge of running 10 kilometres a day. To put this into context I usually run about 60-70 kilometres a month, this will be a case of running 300 kilometres in a month, which is nearly 200 miles. When I had my cancer I was lucky to have the support of family and friends but unlike me many don’t and need the excellent support provided by Macmillan. I know this year has been extremely tough but if you are able to sponsor me in any small way it will be hugely appreciated.
