Story

Friends and Colleagues,

On Monday March 17 I will be shaving my head to raise money to find cures for childhood cancer as part of our St Baldrick’s  / Children with Cancer 24 hour Global Shave.

This is the 7th year that Markit has raised funds in this way and last year employees raised over $220k with Markit matching another $100k for a total of $320k – all making us the top fund-raising team with St Baldrick’s globally.

It’s all too easy to be blasé about cancer, shaving my head is, admittedly, not the hardest thing to do but it is in solidarity with children that lose their hair undergoing painful cancer treatment.

So if you are willing to help and wish to donate please do so and be as generous as you can be!

Thank you for reading this and for anything you are able to do.
