There is no doubting that the past 8 months have taken a toll on everyone, both mentally and physically. I personally found myself in a dark place during the first lockdown as I sadly lost some close friends. But I have always been a firm believer of sport being a great way to relief stress and improving a persons mental state. This is something that the charity #Willdoes also believes in.

The will does charity was set up by Lesley Buchanan in remembrance of her son William Paddy, who I never had the pleasure of meeting but who I am told was the definition of a cheeky chappy! He loved all sports from snowboarding to riding horses at the RAC saddles club in bovington which is where we are currently keeping our horses and therefore my brother and I have been engrossed by the amazing work that this charity and its ambassadors are responsible for. The charity's mission is to help young people achieve well-being through sport and physical activity. This is why my brother and I will be raising money for this wonderful charity by running the Southampton marathon on the 25th April 2021!
