Some of us have family or friends that have or are currently battling and others directly affected. This is a chance for me to challenge myself to a little run having not done anything like this for way to long. Let's face it my physique is not best equipped for running!!!

I will be running in memory of my Grandma and Grandad who because of this disease I never got to meet in person. But they are very much alive in my mind because of the stories I have been told. My other Grandad who passed away 3 years ago, an old friend and colleague Sally who I will never forget and My friends Dad and brother in law who are both battling now. And for the countless friends of friends who's journeys I have learnt of through them.

For anyone wherever you are who is currently fighting - Know you are not alone and that there is a pink army that have got your back, they are remarkable ladies who will hold your hand, laugh with you, cry with you, scream with you and be there with you always.
