Strictly Dance 2023 Competition for Dr Kershaw's Hospice

Team: George's Girls
I will be taking part, on Friday 17th March 2023, in this fabulous dance competition and I would be grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small.
I trained in Ballroom and Latin when I was younger but as it's over 30 years since I did that, this is taking me completely out of my comfort zone - and it's proving to be harder than I thought, but that doesn't matter because I am doing it for a great cause, to raise money for Dr Kershaw's Hospice, so I would love to have your support.
Dr Kershaw's looked after my Dad until he passed away in June 2022 and without them, our family would have been totally lost and alone. They are the most incredible team of doctors, nurses and carers and gave Dad such peace and dignity in his final months with us, we can never thank them enough. So I really do want to raise as much money as possible as they rely completely on donations and provide the most incredible service and care to not just their patients but also in supporting the families, which from first hand experience, I can tell you is invaluable.
My dancing partner is my sister Andrea, who also trained when I did but who also hasn't been on a ballroom floor in 30 years! She and I will be one of 12 couples taking part at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham in front of a live audience and a panel of judges to try to take home the Glitter Ball trophy. To make sure we know our steps we will be honing our skills under the direction of a local dance school before the competition so we are ready for our big night, which is a lot harder than we thought it would be.
My sister Andrea also has her own Just Giving Page so please feel free to sponsor either or both of us. Anything you can give would be much appreciated to help us raise as much money as possible for Dr Kershaw's in memory of our Dad.xxx
Thank you.xxx
