Gail's The M3 Job Club Coffee Campaign

The M3 Job Club Coffee Campaign · 11 November 2014
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know, I am a trustee of a local charity called the M3 Job Club. We are run 100% by volunteers and have helped over 300 people back into work since we started in April 2011. Our Friday morning sessions are punchy, relevant and are free for anyone to attend who finds themselves in career transition. Topics vary from LinkedIn to Interviews; CV Writing to Personal Branding; Presentation skills to psychometric tests. We leave no stone unturned and work hard to empower people back to work.
We cannot do this without cash - we receive no central government funding and have been blessed to receive funding from local government and also local businesses, but we must do more to enable us to continue delivering this great service.
This idea has been floating around in my mind for about 3 years. On walking into the club with a well known coffee shop chain cup, a member was telling me that his £15 per week - £3 per day - habit, was one of the first things he had had to give up and one of the things he was looking forward to sampling again when back in work. My challenge to you is simple - can you give up the cost of one of your favourite coffees / teas / hot chocolates to help secure the future for a member of our club?
Please also remember that Vodafone UK will fund match me up to £350 up until the end of December this year, so your 1 coffee sacrifice is really more like 2!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks for reading, thanks even more for sharing and if you've donated - massive massive thanks from me and all of the M3 Job Club Members.
