Story
By the time October 2022 comes around, it will be 3.5 years since I first signed up to do the London Marathon. After seeing off the flu, pneumonia, a broken hand and the pandemic, I finally completed the Virtual London Marathon in October 2020 in 4 hours 11 mins. And now I'm hoping the iconic route and the crowds on Sunday 2 October will help me achieve just under 4 hours - but mostly I'll be glad to actually run it at last!
I've chosen to run for Save the Children as I've been a regular supporter since having my first child 15 years ago, as I became acutely aware of how incredibly fortunate we were compared to the children that face trying to survive in the toughest places.
Please give whatever you can to Save The Children so they can help children get the future they deserve. Save the Children support families in the UK as well as responding to emergencies around the world.
Thank you x
