My friend's 16 yr old daughter is fighting cancer and currently going through chemo. Meriel, another friend's daughter, didn't reach her 13th birthday. I'm very lucky as have three daughters who are all healthy. I want to make sure that other children and adults continue to live a long, happy and healthy life. I'm turning 60 in a few weeks and feel so privileged to reach this age. Corrine, Maddy, Meriel, Tony, Flo, Stephen and many of my family and friends life's journey ended too soon. Other friends, Hanni, Lisa, Deb's, Anne, Ali and I'm sure others are still fighting cancer. I simply want to support research that will help stop cancer!
