The public and hospital staff support has been amazing and bucket collection on the day has proved very successful.
Thanks to all my collegues at the North West Lung Centre and Jan at the Fundraising Department, the event ran very smoothly!
The ARA has even posted about it on their website: http://www.ara-rowing.org/
If you would like to sponsor us, it is still possible and would be wonderful!
Thank You

After our successes at the British Indoor Rowing Championships , the National Veteran Championships and very recently at the Henley Veteran Regatta , Brian, Val, Sian and myself have decided to go one step further and would like to try ourselves on a rowing MARATHON!
Brian has even broken the half-marathon British record in training!! We will all support and help him attempt the British Record for the Marathon in his "Grand-Dad" age-group category!!
