Cupernham is really fun and supportive. Having an outdoor classroom sounds even more fun. Learning outdoors sounds calming and peaceful. I hope this event makes a contribution to the amount we need for an outdoor classroom.

Learning outside has so many benefits including physical and mental health, creating memorable learning moments, increased motivation and personal confidence. Our aim at Cupernham over the next couple of years is to link all of our current curriculum subjects to allow an increase in learning outdoors. As part of our journey towards creating a more established outdoor curriculum, we need to make sure our grounds support opportunities for learning. We need areas that classes can utilise and meet in to learn whatever the weather. An outdoor classroom would be an amazing addition to our school site. It would provide shelter from sun and rain and therefore could be in use all year round.
