Story

Huge thanks for being here.  As you will be aware my husband Matt was diagnosed with RP 5 years ago and sadly during lockdown we found out our children have a 50% chance of having the condition too.    I started running to help me cope, for my mental health and because I fancied a challenge whilst helping a charity close to our hearts.  Since then I have run the London marathon virtually for RNIB in Oct 20,  Oct 21 I was all set to run it in London & sadly I got covid so RNIB kindly transferred my place to Oct 22.  Myself and my family are extremely grateful for everything that RNIB continue to do for us and now Matt is also working for RNIB helping support people with sight loss too which I think is amazing and I'm so proud of how well he continues to cope.

I've been very fortunate & offered a place to run again for RNIB The London Marathon in April 2023 where it will return to it's usual time of year in Spring and I'm super lucky to have my good mate Trev on board who will be running it with me... So...I'll continue to pound the streets & to fundraise to say a huge thank you to RNIB for everything that they do & to all of you lovely lot who are reading this & supporting me too.

BIG LOVE  &  LONDON!! Let’s be having you!!! X
