This is the first time I will be running for a charity and I would like to do this for a friend who's sister has lost a baby recently. I do not know her sister personally but I would love to do my bit and help her out as much as I can as well as all the other beautiful babies and parents out there who are or have experienced the same thing.

I think that by participating in this run that it will  be a massive achievement for me, as I have never done something like this before and while out there running and enjoying myself and also tiring myself out I will  be raising money for a great cause at the same time.

In the UK 17 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth every single day yet nothing is being done to bring this number down. Research is desperately needed to understand and raise awareness on why babies die in order to develop better screening tools to identify babies at risk of stillbirth and save their lives.

No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child and there should be all the help out there for all the babies who need it, so anything you can donate will be amazing and very much appreciated as your little bit could change a whole families life.
