In a country as rich as the UK, there's absolutely no reason why anyone should be homeless, especially when they're just starting off in life. I'm running the Manchester marathon in April to raise money for Roundabout (more info below). Roundabout is Sheffield's youth homeless charity. Every day, we provide shelter and support to over 150 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. You donations will help provide a safe place for young people and help us to provide the support and life skills to help break the cycle of homelessness. Your support will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield. Our work is a lifeline for many and supports the young people we work with to prepare for a better future. From £5 which would buy bedding for a young person when they move into the hostel or their own flat to £5,000 which will house a young person for a full year – it all makes a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
