We provide mental health support services to improve the lives of those in Wales.

Story

Under normal circumstances we would be looking forward to sitting around kitchen tables with friends, family and neighbours up and down the country - sharing our thoughts, worries, concerns and anything else on our mind. Of course, given the on-going Covid-19 restrictions, our usual way of running this campaign is sadly not an option.

However, the ethos of sitting around the kitchen table to enjoy the wonderful produce our farmers produce from eggs, cheese, bacon, sausages to butters and yoghurts etc, is still very much do-able at home with our closest family.

We are therefore joining forces with butchers, farm shops, cafes and other Welsh Food retailers across Wales to help spread the word about the fantastic produce that is available right on our doorstep and the fantastic charity, whom we've supported for several years, The DPJ Foundation.

This event will be subject to change due to COVID-19 Government restrictions but the DPJ Foundation will always need your support and fundraising. Please feel free to donate in the absence of this event. Your donation will help to provide vital support to those in rural communities and in agriculture with mental health problems.

O dan amgylchiadau arferol byddem yn edrych ymlaen at eistedd o amgylch byrddau cegin gyda ffrindiau, teulu a chymdogion ledled y wlad - gan rannu ein syniadau, pryderon, ac unrhyw beth arall sydd ar ein meddwl. Wrth gwrs, o ystyried y cyfyngiadau Covid-19 cyfredol, yn anffodus, nid yw ein ffordd arferol o gynnal yr ymgyrch hon yn ddewis.

Fodd bynnag, mae'r ethos o eistedd o amgylch bwrdd y gegin i fwynhau'r cynnyrch gwych mae ein ffermwyr yn ei gynhyrchu, o wyau, caws, bacwn, selsig i fenyn ac iogyrtiau ac ati, yn bosib gartref gyda'n teulu agosaf.

Felly rydym yn ymuno â chigyddion, siopau fferm, caffis a manwerthwyr bwyd Cymreig eraill ledled Cymru i helpu i ledaenu'r gair am y cynnyrch gwych sydd ar gael ar garreg ein drws a'r elusen wych, yr ydym wedi'i chefnogi ers sawl blwyddyn, y DPJ Foundation.

Mae’n bosib y gall y digwyddiad hwn newid oherwydd cyfyngiadau COVID-19 y Llywodraeth, ond bydd y DPJ Foundation angen eich cefnogaeth a'ch cymorth i godi arian bob amser. Mae croeso i chi gyfrannu os na fydd y digwyddiad hwn yn digwydd. Bydd eich rhodd yn helpu i ddarparu cefnogaeth hanfodol i'r rhai hynny mewn cymunedau gwledig ac amaethyddol sydd â phroblemau iechyd meddwl.

The DPJ Foundation was set up in July 2016 following the death of Daniel Picton-Jones. The DPJ Foundation aims to support those in the agricultural sector suffering from poor mental health. Daniel’s mental health went undiagnosed and unseen by many. Daniel was an agricultural contractor, he was part of a sector with the highest suicide rate. His widow Emma decided to set up the foundation to support the mental health farming sector, for those who feel just as Daniel did, providing them with the support that he didn’t know how to get.

Sefydlwyd y DPJ Foundation ym mis Gorffennaf 2016 yn dilyn marwolaeth Daniel Picton-Jones. Nod y DPJ Foundation yw cefnogi'r rhai yn y sector amaethyddol sy'n dioddef o iechyd meddwl gwael. Ni chafodd iechyd meddwl Daniel ei ddiagnosio ac nid oedd llawer yn ymwybodol o’i gyflwr. Roedd Daniel yn gontractwr amaethyddol, ac yn rhan o sector gyda'r gyfradd hunanladdiad uchaf. Penderfynodd ei weddw Emma sefydlu’r DPJ Foundation er mwyn cefnogi iechyd meddwl y sector ffermio, a’r rhai sy’n teimlo’n union fel Daniel, gan ddarparu’r gefnogaeth iddynt nad oedd ef yn ymwybodol ohono.
