Black-tailed godwits are a beautiful wading bird but there are now only around 50 pairs in the UK. Project Godwit has been rearing young godwits in captivity and releasing them once fledged, a process called head-starting to boost the population. Your donation will go towards ongoing conservation efforts to save this species. On our epic ride we will be visiting all of the nature reserves in England where head-started godwits have visited before migrating to Africa.
