Story

Hello Everyone!

As some of you may know, I was involved in a bad accident in September 2018 when I was knocked off my bicycle by a car. Unfortunately, this has left me with some serious injuries. Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA) came to my rescue with two fantastic medics and all their specialist equipment. They flew me to the major trauma unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital where I was looked after.

Also, on the day of my accident a film crew happened to be on-board the helicopter! My treatment at the scene and transport to hospital were filmed and shown on Channel 4’s Emergency Helicopter Medics Series 3 Episode 6.

The TVAA are incredible and are still supporting us. I am still on the road to recovery but without their help and continued support things could be much worse. We are now raising money for them as they receive no external funding and are entirely reliant on the community to keep them operational.

This is my way of giving back for what they did for me and do for so many others.

Trevor
