Story
I've not worn a full kit (outside of a playing environment) since the age of 8 when I proudly donned my Southampton socks, shorts and shirt with the number 7 of Steve Moran on the back. Thirty-three years later its time to do it again, this time for a full day of the Land's End to John O'Groats challenge in September - 969 miles over 9 days from the bottom to the top of Great Britain.
I'm woefully underprepared for the challenge, but over the next two months I'm going to do everything I can to get physically ready, and I'm determined to raise as much as I can for Kick4Life. I'm immensely proud to be riding alongside 11 inspirational K4L supporters who are fundraising for our work with vulnerable youth in Lesotho, along with many other people representing a plethora of good causes.
To make the fundraising a bit more interesting I'm offering you the chance to decide what kit (shirt, shorts and socks) I'll be wearing. To have a say please donate whatever you can and mention in the comments what kit you'd like me to wear. I'll do a running league table below, and I'll wear the full kit (shirt, shorts and socks) of whichever club tops the table a week before the challenge - even if it comes out as P*********.
Even if your club is not near the top, please donate - I'm going to try and collect a hundred different clubs from all around the world from professional teams to amateur sides. And please encourage your fellow supporters to donate and move your team up the table!
Thanks so much for your support.
Steve
