Unbelievably every two hours a male under 45 commits suicide in the UK. It isn’t widely known but the biggest killer in men under 45 is
suicide....
As devoted Fulham fans we passionately feel that following our team is a blessing rather than a curse, but in contrast to what the great Bill Shankly said in our opinion Football isn’t more important than life and death.
To show you how much this means a group of us led by Lee Adams will be walking around 113 miles over three days from the spiritual home of football Craven Cottage to Birmingham's St Andrews to watch our final away match of the season.
Yes we will get blisters, we may even stop in a few pubs along the way but most importantly we want to use this walk to raise awareness for the fantastic charity CALM - Campaign Against Living Miserably.
This is so much more important than 3 points , CALM are an amazing charity that operate 365 days of the year from 5pm till midnight, but it actually costs £7 to connect a call, so please give generously and show your support.
Walking together to end male suicide in the UK, with the support of the Fulham family and your much needed contributions we can make a difference.
Our schedule (+ hours of solid walking) is as follows:
Day 1: Craven Cottage to Dunstable - 32 Miles (11hrs)
Day 2: Dunstable to Daventry - 43 Miles (14-15hrs)
Day 3: Daventry to Solihull - 31 Miles (10-11hrs)
Day 4: Solihull to St. Andrews - 6 miles (2hrs)
