Story
David Lee, Matt Wilkinson and I have decided to take part in the Velo Birmingham to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As a trio of novice riders, we will be cycling 100 miles covering over 7,100ft of climbing in the process. This will be a very challenging course for us. If you donate, please be assured that you will get your money's worth in our pain and suffering.
To put this into context, just imagine three novice cyclists who have a deeply inappropriate penchant for lycra, sweating away in lots of pain and quietly sobbing to themselves, whilst trying to continue to pedal and reassure themselves that they won't need the use of their backsides, testes or legs for the next three months anyway. That will be us. #cancelthevasectomy #dontneedthemanyway
p.s. we're named the Froome Wagon (in homage to the incredible Chris Froome), it seemed like a funny pun at the time...(Froome Wagon, Broome Wagon...genius I know)...less so now.
Macmillan is a well know charity that provides a huge amount of information and support to those suffering from cancer or their families and friends. Please donate generously to support this cause. If you don't know about Macmillan - do check them out at www.macmillan.org.uk
