In July 2019, little Lara Maddocks passed away at just 3 months old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), also known as cot death or crib death.

It left her proud parents Mark and Rach, their family, and friends, devastated.

Throughout the following months, they turned to The Lullaby Trust for support and saw first hand just how amazing this charity is.

In August 2020, led by Mark, we walked (dressed as dinosaurs) "From Leeds for Lara", an 85 mile. 3 day walk. The support from everyone was simply amazing as we raised nearly £13,000.

This year, in continued memory of Lara's legacy, we are going further to raise more, much needed funds and awareness for this amazing charity.

We are walking "FROM LONDON FOR LARA" - a week long trek from The Lullaby Trusts Head Office in Central London, back to Lara's hometown of "Alty". 

The walk will go from London - Hemel Hempstead - Milton Keynes - Daventry - Nuneaton - Cannock - Stoke on Trent - Knutsford - Altrincham. All in, well over 200 miles !!!

It will probably end up being in fancy dress again too !!!

This time it is extra special as we walk for her little brother Benjamin too - so he can see first hand just how loved his big sister is and that she will never be forgotten.

OVER 100 OF LARA'S FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE JOINING US ON THE LAST DAY, SATURDAY 31ST JULY 2021 FOR AN 8 MILE WALK BACK TO ALTRINCHAM !!!
