We provide palliative and end of life care to families facing terminal illness

Story

Last year, Clo told Adam she wanted to 'learn to run' and Adam suggested they should have something to train for. Deciding on the half-marathon was easy (unlike the actual race), as it allowed 9 months of training and could be ran for a worthy cause. Although Clo is a complete beginner, Adam's always played different sports so is a little 'fitter', however they are doing this together and are determined to cross the finish line! Documenting each run over on Instagram, they are beginning their journey from the 'couch' with the aim of completing 5km & 10km runs before the big race itself... watch this space! All money raised is for Nottinghamshire Hospice, which you can find out about, below.

"Nottinghamshire Hospice is a registered charity and all services are provided free of charge to our patients and their loved ones. Our mission is to add life to every day for people who have been told their illness cannot be cured, helping them to live as actively and well as possible with care that puts them at the front of everything we say and do. We achieve this through the kindness and generosity of people in communities across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who recognise the difference our work makes. Please help if you can, thank you."
