A group of around 30 employees from DB will be taking part in a 10 day hike through the Peruvian Andes ending our trip at Machu Picchu, all trip costs are paid for by the individual so all the money raised will be going directly to the charities concerned. During the main 5 days of our trip we will be trekking for 6-8 hours per day, with the highest altitude being 4600m.

Whilst being a hugely challenging experience requiring strength, determination and stamina, we are also fundraising for two excellent causes: Autistica and Hope for Homes. The money raised for Hope for Homes will help continue the efforts for deinstitutionalisation, supporting children into loving, stable families and working with the government to tackle the route problems of family breakdowns. The money raised by Autistica has already had a huge impact on many of the lives of people with autism and their families. Although science has come a long way in recent years, there is still a long way to go, and many families continue to suffer.
