Our RNLI lifeboats in Yorkshire and the North East protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

The RNLI is funded entirely through donations, and relies on a wealth of volunteers. The Bridlington Lifeboat fundraising group normally undertakes a busy series of events and activities to support additional fundraising for the station and the RNLI, however Covid-19 has had a big impact on our activities and fundraising.  We hope that this page can help virtually raise some funds.

This will help provide training and equipment to enable the volunteers in Bridlington and the other stations on the Yorkshire Coast and the North East to continue saving lives at sea on our beautiful coastline.  This has never been needed more than during this time when people are staying in the UK and likely to visit the beach more than ever before. we are expecting a very busy season! Thank you very much for your support.
