Story

Lou, Tracey, Carol and Caroline are pledging to do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 days during January.

January is a hard month for many people; the excesses of Christmas combined with long dark days, it can be difficult to find the motivation to exercise, so we decided to commit to get moving for Mind to hold ourselves accountable whilst raising money for a worthy cause.

Andover Mind is a local charity for people who experience, or are affected by, mental health distress. We provide a range of services designed to enable people to achieve their individual potential and to participate in society. We also engage with the local community to promote mental well-being and to challenge stigma and discrimination.

We will be doing a combination of walking, running, dancing and resistance training in a bid to improve our fitness and our mental wellbeing with us each donating £1 a day to charity. If you'd like to support us and make a donation too that would be fab.
