Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Everyone is loved.  Everyone is welcome.  Jesus taught this, and lived this, happily associating with those on the margins of society.

We strive to follow his example, and so Bishop’s Stortford Methodist Church is undertaking a major Redevelopment Project to ensure our premises are inclusive and welcoming to all.  The work includes a new longer and shallower semi-circular ramp, raising the floor level in our side hall so it is on the level with the rest of the premises, and installing a Changing Places toilet for severely disabled adults  (http://www.changing-places.org/).

After extensive behind the scenes work, we are overjoyed that a contractor has been instructed and the project begun – but this is a move of faith, as we still do not have all the funds we need.

I have therefore pledged that, if I can raise £750 in sponsorship, I will have my head shaved on 14 August 2021, and Ben Jack, owner of Marshall’s Hair & Beauty at 6 Bridge Street, has agreed to do this for me.

This is a project I believe in wholeheartedly.  Please donate whatever you can afford.  If just 150 people donate £5, I will have met my  target.
