Story
I'm running the Brighton 10k this April to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
I wanted to do my bit to help raise money towards their research. Because last year my grandma was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
The BHF team works tirelessly towards keeping our loved ones healthy.
There's a huge list of other conditions and diseases they work on. Heart attacks, angina, arrhythmia – there are countless examples.
It's a charity that has or will help almost every family. Everyone gets affected by issues of the heart.
Let's help the BHF continue their research which is achieving awesome things.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK. But sadly, every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
Thank you!
