The two current static nets were last refurbished in 2014. Since then, a gradual deterioration in their quality has taken place and now they are at the end of their useful life. This is unsurprising, due to the high volume of members/ others at NLCC using the nets between March and October. The key benefits of new net facilities will be: increase usage capacity; produce better quality coaching opportunities for all members, attract/retain better players and support youth cricket.
