Story

For August only, FreshFringe becomes 'the radio station of the Fringe', welcoming high-profile guests and aiming to provide an "access-all-areas" look at the festival whilst also supporting partner charity Waverley Care, an Edinburgh based charity supporting those with HIV and Hepatitis C, as well as their families and carers. Money for Waverley Care is raised through specific fundraising events as well as any profits made above covering our own costs.

One such fundraising activity is the ambitious and exciting "24 hour challenge"10am on 22nd August, where hosts Chirstian Illingworth and Finlay Niven will attempt to present an entire day-long radio show! Featuring a range of exciting guests as well as games, features and surprises for the hosts, money will be raised through business sponsorship, team members shaking buckets as they undergo a city-wide 'scavenger hunt' and text/online donations like this!

Donating £20 or more will automatically make you a sponsor of one hour of this history-making show and in return you will receive on-air mentions and a song choice for your sponsored hour! Therefore, if you donate this amount then please leave an email address or contact eve.livingston@freshair.org.uk to arrange your song choice!

If you represent a business and would like to find out more about larger sponsorship or advertising options then please take a look here and contact our Head of Fundraising Eve with any queries at all on eve.livingston@freshair.org.uk

Thanks from all at FreshFringe and Waverley Care!
