Story
We are taking part in the Ride 4 Respite for Leuchie House, National Respite Centre. My Dad is cycling the North Coast 500 this year to raise money for Leuchie and we wanted to help. My friend Mairi and I will cycle 40 miles over the Easter holidays for our Ride 4 Respite.
Leuchie are dedicated to supporting people living with the long-term effects of conditions such as MS, MND, Parkinsons and other neurological conditions through individualised respite breaks, and by providing an essential break for carers. In July this year, Leuchie celebrates 10 years operating as an independent charity! The need for respite has never been greater! Many carers have been shielding alongside their loved ones to reduce the risk of contracting the virus and passing it on, all while their usual support has been disrupted or even suspended. This has been particularly challenging for Leuchie guests and their families as the care routines for someone living with a neurological condition can be both physically and mentally draining on carers. Please donate to our Ride 4 Respite and help Leuchie reach their goal of raising enough funds to cover the cost of 10 respite breaks. Thank you
